1. Data Collection & Usage

Offline-First: ScanVolt processes data locally on your device. We do not transmit your scan history or generated codes to any external server.

Personal Data: We do not collect, store, or share personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, or phone number.

2. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you for advertising and analytics purposes:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may collect data such as Advertising ID and device information to show personalized ads.
• Google Play Services: Used for core app functionality.

3. App Permissions

• Camera: Required solely for scanning QR codes and barcodes in real-time. No video or image data is recorded or sent to us.
• Storage (Read/Write): Required only if you choose to save generated QR code images to your device's gallery.

4. Data Retention

All scan history is stored in a local database on your device. You can clear this data at any time via the app settings. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted.

5. Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.
